CSS Poster
Graphic Design — Typography & Visual Communication
Project Description
A graphic design project exploring poster design through CSS and web technologies. The project investigates the expressive potential of type, colour, and layout as communication tools — translating traditional print poster principles into a browser-based medium.
Exploration
Typography is one of the most powerful tools in a designer's kit — it carries both meaning and emotion simultaneously. This project explores how CSS can be used as a design medium in its own right, using layout, scale, weight, and colour to create visually compelling poster compositions without relying on raster images.
Project Outcome
The result is a series of CSS-generated posters that demonstrate control over typographic hierarchy, negative space, and visual tension. Each poster communicates a distinct message through purely typographic and geometric means.
